Vandslab partnered with Otthonzóna to design and build the entire platform — from the public-facing listing experience and content pages to the AI search assistant that sets the product apart from traditional real estate portals.

Real estate portals are notoriously dense. Users navigate long filter forms, memorize obscure location names, and sift through hundreds of nearly identical listings. Otthonzóna wanted to break out of that pattern and offer a platform that feels fast, clear, and human.
The platform had to cover the full breadth of a traditional real estate product: rental and sale listings, detailed property pages, agent content, service descriptions, SEO-ready subpages, and trustworthy company information. All of it had to work on mobile, where the majority of property search happens.
Layered on top was the ambition to integrate AI-driven property search — not as a gimmick, but as a practical assistant that can interpret natural-language requests ("two bedrooms, near a school, under 80 million") and translate them into real results from the listing database.

The standout feature is the AI chatbot: a conversational search assistant that lets visitors describe the home they want in plain Hungarian. Instead of clicking filters, users type "három szoba, kert, Buda környéke, max 120 millió" and the assistant returns matching listings directly inside the chat — grounded in the same listing database as the rest of the site.
